Is growing plants in water seriously that easy?
Yes! We love planting in water because of how clean and easy it is. To keep your plants alive, simply ensure that they’re kept in an area without much temperature variation, refill the water every 2 weeks, and a monthly couple drops of nutrients. A full care guide can be found here.
How do I find cuttings for your products?
Sourcing plants is one of the most exciting parts of owning our Grow Frames and Hangers. The first places we generally look for cuttings are existing houseplants, swapping with friends and family, and buying plants to use for cuttings from local nurseries. Additionally, we'll be selling cuttings as an optional add-on from late March - October if you'd like our curated selection.

Each frame comes with a mounting guide to ensure easy hanging on any wall. Tape the guide to the wall where you'd like your frame and plant(s) to hang. Follow the simple instructions, and voila!

How long will my plants survive in water?
Plants purchased from Modern Botanical should stay healthy for at least a year. Beyond that, it varies by variety, but some plants, like the monstera deliciosa, have been known to survive for over a decade in water. Plant selection is key, which is why we only sell plants that thrive in water.
If you are thinking about it- do it! They are terrific looking, easy to hang and easy to maintain. MOBO is a wonderful company to work with as well.

When opening my purchase, one of my 3 glass pieces slipped out very easily and shattered all over my kitchen floor. I mentioned it to customer service rep and they were wonderful and sent me an immediate replacement. However, I think this can be resolved with the rubber band being set prior to sending. The set up and installation was very easy even with a QR code showing how to install. I don't feel 100% confident tho that should an earthquake occur that they wouldn't fall out of the wall. If I bump it, it comes out. The starters that were sent to me were in great condition, but ones that I already have, I was hoping for possibly different ones, but overall, the 3 pieces look lovely on my wall. I will order again.

Today I mounted all of MoBo wall mounts and planters. I have to admit I was a little skeptical at first in ordering online without seeing the product in person. On a few occasions I have been left disappointed ordering online. In this I was blown away at how the products were made, packaged, shipped and the easy installation. The wall mounts definitely enhance all of empty bare walls, into a botanical wall.That i am proud of the results. Thank You MoBo for making me a believer
